Neil Martin and Ram Selvarajah appointed to the OPTrust Board

Email the linkNeil Martin and Ram Selvarajah were appointed to the OPTrust Board of Trustees by OPSEU, effective April 1, 2021.
Mr. Martin is an Industrial Health and Safety Inspector with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development in Mississauga. He has more than 16 years of experience in occupational health and safety in the Ontario Public Service. Mr. Martin previously was Chair of the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers’ Toronto Local Advisory Committee.
He is a strong union activist and serves as the President of OPSEU Local 546. Mr. Martin is Chair of OPSEU’s Central Employee Relations Committee that promotes and facilitates communication and consultation between OPSEU and the Government of Ontario on issues of joint interest.
Mr. Selvarajah is a Senior Systems Analyst with the Ministry of the Solicitor General and has more than 20 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service. He is Chair of the Ministry’s Employee Relations Committee, and is also First Vice President of Peel Regional Labour Council and Co-Chair of the Tamil Workers Network.
Vice President of OPSEU Local 524, Mr. Selvarajah has experience in labour relations, and is a strong advocate for human rights and equity.
