Jason Mushynski was appointed to the Board of Trustees by OPSEU/SEFPO in January 2024.
Jason has more than 28 years of experience as a correctional officer at the Ministry of the Solicitor General, including 20 years as a member of the Institutional Crisis Intervention Team and five years as a team lead.
Jason has been active with OPSEU/SEFPO for many years. He is the past president of OPSEU/SEFPO Local 582 at Toronto East Detention Centre and is a member of the Training and Development Sub-Committee for the Ministry Employee Relations Committee.
Jason graduated from the Sir Sandford Fleming College Correctional Worker Program and is committed to labour relations. He holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
