OPSEU/SEFPO named Jason to the Board of Trustees in January 2024.
Jason has over 25 years’ experience as a correctional officer at the Ministry of the Solicitor General, including 20 years as a member of the Institutional Crisis Intervention Team and five years as a team lead.
Jason has been active with OPSEU/SEFPO for many years. He is currently the president of OPSEU/SEFPO Local 582 at Toronto East Detention Centre and serves as the co-chair of the Training and Development Sub-Committee for the Ministry Employee Relations Committee.
Jason graduated from the Sir Sandford Fleming College Correctional Worker program and is a life-learner committed to labour relations.
