Jason Mushynski

OPSEU named Jason Mushynski to the Board of Trustees in January 2024.

Jason has over 25 years experience as a Correctional Officer at the Ministry of the Solicitor General including 20 years as a member of the Institutional Crisis Intervention Team and five years as a Team Lead.

Jason has been active with OPSEU for many years. He is currently the president of OPSEU Local 582 at Toronto East Detention Centre and serves as the Co-Chair of the Training and Development Sub-Committee for the Ministry Employee Relations Committee.

Jason graduated from the Sir Sandford Fleming College Correctional Worker program and is a life-learner committed to labour relations.
