Janel Perron was appointed to the Board of Trustees by OPSEU/SEFPO in January 2025.
Janel has more than 35 years of experience as a paramedic and is currently employed with the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services as an advanced care paramedic. Janel has been active with OPSEU/SEFPO for many years, including seven years as an executive board member, five years as a member of the Pension Liaison Committee with the Executive Board, and four years as a trustee on the OPSEU/SEFPO staff pension plan.
Janel is a graduate of Fanshawe College's Ambulance and Emergency Care Program, and Georgian College's Advanced Care Paramedic Program.
