Ram Selvarajah was appointed to the Board of Trustees by OPSEU/SEFPO in April 2021. He has served as vice-chair of the Board and chair of the Investment Committee since November 2024. Ram previously served as chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee.
Ram is a senior systems analyst with the Ministry of the Solicitor General and has more than 25 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service. He is the president of Peel Regional Labour Council, a member of the Tamil Workers Network Steering Committee and also serves on the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Greater Toronto. He has extensive experience in labour relations and is a strong advocate for human rights and equity.
Ram has a BA in political science from York University, and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, along with several IT designations.
