Ram Selvarajah

OPSEU named Ram Selvarajah to the Board of Trustees in April 2021. Ram became Vice-Chair of the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee, effective Nov. 1, 2024. He recently served as Chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee.

Ram is a Senior Systems Analyst with the Ministry of the Solicitor General and has more than 25 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service. He is the President of Peel Regional Labour Council, a member of the Tamil Workers Network Steering Committee and also serves on the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Great Toronto. He has extensive experience in labour relations and is a strong advocate for human rights and equity.

Ram has a BA in political science from York University, and ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, along with several IT designations.
